Daewoo

Daewoo's British car business was a distinctive 1990s experiment, selling Korean built family cars through a direct retail model before the range was absorbed into Chevrolet. Models such as the Matiz, Lanos, Nubira and Leganza covered the core small car and family sectors, often using engineering with roots in earlier General Motors designs. The badge disappeared from new UK cars, leaving a finite population from a relatively short sales period.
