Daimler

Daimler is one of Britain's oldest motoring names, although most later cars were closely related to Jaguars rather than products of an independent manufacturer. The badge came to signify more formal, luxurious versions of Jaguar saloons, alongside earlier limousines and distinctive models such as the SP250 sports car. Its registrations therefore bridge pre Jaguar history, traditional coachbuilt luxury and a long period in which Daimler sat at the top of Jaguar's range.
