Smart

Smart was conceived around extremely compact urban cars, most famously the 2 seat Fortwo, before the range expanded into larger models and later became electric focused. Early cars used unusual rear engine packaging to minimise length and make city parking easier, giving the brand a clear identity unlike conventional small hatchbacks. More recent Smart models are larger and developed with Geely, so the register now spans 2 very different interpretations of the same badge.
