Skoda
Skoda's British reputation changed more dramatically than almost any established European marque. Once known here for inexpensive rear engined cars from Czechoslovakia, it was transformed under Volkswagen Group ownership into a mainstream producer of practical hatchbacks, estates and SUVs. Favorit and Felicia mark the transition, while Octavia, Fabia, Superb and later electric models built a much larger following among private buyers, fleets and drivers prioritising space and value.
